32 Spring Self Care Ideas For Your Soft Girl Era

So there I was sipping an iced honey matcha in a pink Gilmore Girls mug, tap-tap-tapping away on my laptop, the scent of my favorite vanilla-coconut candle in the air, and croissant flakes all over my desk from my afternoon treat… And I realized I felt like the female main character during the montage scene of a rom-com. Everything felt so soft and feminine, and I thought, why don’t I do this kind of thing all the time? I didn’t do anything crazy, it was just a few simple details that made my day feel more feminine and emphasized self care. So, inspired by my little joys, I wrote this post for you. Because I want you to have lots of little joys, too, and get to embrace your soft girl era. So keep reading for 32 spring self care ideas to embrace your soft girl era!

P.S. This post is meant for quick inspiration — just grab-and-go fun ideas to inspire your self care activities this spring. That said, I’ll probably have more posts like this with more details and in-depth ideas for you coming up, so keep an eye out!

4. Go to your local farmers market and buy seasonal fruit

5. Use the seasonal fruit you bought at the farmers market to bake a delicious homemade treat (like strawberry shortcake!)

6. Treat yourself to a manicure/pedicure, or do one at home

I always recommend Manucurist to my friends for at-home manicures. Their nail polish is non-toxic and (the best part) is that removing the gel polish is super easy. Within 3 minutes the nail polish literally peels up off your nails. No scraping or filing required.

7. Plan an outdoor picnic with your bestie, featuring your favorite snack foods and cute lil drinkies

14. Switch to non-toxic skincare products and build a luxurious routine

31. Invest in a clean perfume that makes you feel sexy

I love using a non-toxic perfume to feel more put together and sexier overall. Find a scent that makes you feel luxurious and that you can wear every day. For me, I love Dime Beauty perfume in the scents I Love Your Smell, Baby and Lovely Sweet Dreams. They’re both a little on the sweeter side, but for me I feel so good every time I wear it.

32. Sit outside in the warm sun, breathe the fresh air, and think about all the beauty in your life

this is the only one you’ve got, so let yourself slow down and enjoy it

Final thoughts on spring self care ideas for your soft girl era

I hope this post on 32 spring self care activities for your soft girl era gave you plenty of ideas and inspiration! We all celebrate our femininity in different ways, so even if you didn’t identify with all of these ideas, give yourself permission to branch out of your comfort zone and try something new.

As someone who spends most of her waking moments with her male fiance, and whose girl friends live 5 hours away, I find that I have to be very intentional in my femininity.

While I’m not someone to wear lace and lipstick every day, I still want to feel pretty, and soft, and smell good. So I make the time to use a luxurious body oil after my everything shower, I bake cookies with jazz music on and a glass of wine, and I love buying pretty girly things to wear on my nights at home.

If you’re also embracing your soft girl era right now, I hope this post gave you some ideas to try out on your own. Remember, you are always worth the time and effort to invest in your wellbeing, and if that includes fresh flowers or a free afternoon to do some yoga at home, then don’t hesitate to do it.

And if you need someone to remind you that you deserve good things, you can always come back here.

Sending love and big hugs,

xo Sav
