Last Minute Mother’s Day Gift Ideas for Slackers

1. Dead Sea Mud Mask

A mud mask like this is the perfect self care gift for moms who love a good skincare product. It contains Dead Sea mineral mud, aloe vera, calendula oil, Vitamin E and Jojoba oil. Together, these ingredients gently purify the skin, unclog pores, exfoliate for softer and glowing skin.

2. Bath Bomb Gift Set

Does your mom need more time to relax? HA! Let me answer that for you–of course she does. She’s a mom. That woman basically never relaxes.

So, to help her get her spa-day-vibe on, this set of 12 bath bombs would make an amazing last minute gift for Mother’s Day.

These bath bombs received glowing reviews on Amazon. They hydrate and moisturize your skin without leaving a sticky residue.

I love that they’re made with clean, non-sketchy ingredients. Each bomb contains shea butter, coco butter, organic coconut oil, epsom salts, kaolin clay, and cosmetic skin-safe colorants.

Some are colored, some have flower petals or glitter in them, and according to customers, they all smell amazing.

The scents included are: Angel, black raspberry vanilla, fun in the shower, fun on the beach, kiwi & strawberry, lavender, lemongrass green tea, love, mango papaya, melon ball, shea & coconut, and victorian rose.

And no, I’m not sure what “fun in the shower” smells like, but I’m confident it’s delightful.

3. BathTub Pillow

Nothing is worse than being excited for a nice hot, relaxing soak in the bath, only to realize you can’t frickin get comfortable… because a cold hard tub is not comfortable for anyone’s neck.

If your mom or mother-figure loves taking baths, this bathtub pillow will solve that problem. It’s designed to cradle around your head, neck, and back for the most comfortable bath she’ll ever take.

This pillow has suction cups to make sure it stays in one place. So if your mom doesn’t already have one, then this is the missing piece to her home spa day.

Plus, it’s hand washable or machine washable, quick drying, and should fit any bathtub.

4. Capri Blue Scented Candle

I can’t say enough good things about Capri Blue Volcano candles. I have one from Anthropologie, and it’s still the best smelling candle I’ve ever owned.

5. Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil

This hair oil is a luxurious, concentrated formula that offers several amazing benefits for your mom’s (or your) hair.

Olaplex bonding oil is a great last-minute gift idea for Mother’s Day for any mom who enjoys beauty products. This oil will help her hair look and feel healthier, as it repairs past chemical, heat, bleach or dye treatments.

It’s formulated to repair damaged hair, strengthen and protect hair structure, restore healthy appearance and hair texture, and improve luster, shine and manageability.

6. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

I looove this lip sleeping mask, and I truly think it would make an excellent Mother’s Day gift. I got a mini pot of Laneige lip mask as part of my birthday gift from Sephora a year ago, and it has the most delicious flavor and scent.

This mask contains Vitamin C and antioxidants, and helps revive dry, flaky lips overnight. If your mom already uses a chapstick or lip balm every night, the Laneige lip mask is a great way to elevate her evening routine.

7. Bathtub Caddy & Tray

When it comes to Mother’s Day, I try to make my gift focus on something that’s going to feel luxurious, pampering, or relaxing for my mom.

After all, the woman spends most of her waking hours worried about everyone else, regardless of the fact that all of her kids are adults at this point. So, I know what she could really use is some “me time.”

This bathtub tray/caddy is the perfect gift for any mom or woman who needs some relaxation. It comes equipped to accommodate all the essentials, like:

  • A slot for your wine glass
  • Stand for your tablet
  • Smart phone holder
  • Detachable spa trays to hold bath bombs, a candle, a lil snack, or whatetver you want

It has adjustable arms so it can fit most bathtubs, and it even comes with a free bamboo soap holder. Overall, this is an excellent last minute gift idea for Mother’s Day.

8. Jade Stone Facial Kit

I got something here for the skincare/beauty junkie! This is a 3-in-1 package of jade stone facial tools.

This kit includes a jade roller with a large and small stone on either side, a ridged roller, and a jade gua sha. You can also get the same kit made with rose quartz instead, if rose quartz is a better fit for your mom.

These tools are all amazing for different purposes. The jade roller is great to help your skincare products better absorb into your skin. And, you can keep it in your refrigerator so that it’s nice and cool to help de-puff and soothe your skin.

The ridge roller is meant to be used in the same way as the regular roller. The added bonus is that the ridges help promote extra circulation.

Finally, the gua sha is also great to promote circulation, but it also helps promote lymphatic drainage to give your jawline more definition. It helps your face have more definition in general as well.

9. Stanley Tumbler

What mom doesn’t need a to-go cup for her favorite beverage? I know my mom would use this to carry her iced tea with stevia, but maybe your mom wants to carry her iced coffee, matcha latte, her gym beverage, or even just water!

This Stanley cup is an amazing option because it’s guaranteed to keep her drinks ice cold for hours, and the lid has 3 different positions for her sipping preferences.

It comes in tons of beautiful colors, and several sizes (which I love, because you can get one that fits easily into the car cup holder!).

10. Wine Purifier and Aerator

Okay, so tons of people, moms included, love wine. What no one loves though, is the post-wine headache or hangover.

This bad boy, right here, solves that issue.

This handy little device removes sulfites and histamines (the little devils that cause the headaches) without altering your wine’s natural chemistry. In fact, it also serves as an aerator to improve and bolster your wine’s flavor, bringing out even more flavor.

What’s also super sick and unique to the Ullo wine purifier is that you can use the on/off aerator switch to either infuse oxygen into red wine to bolster the flavor, or keep the switch “off” to protect the delicate balance in white wines.

(I’m not very knowledgeable about wines other than the knowledge that I like ‘em, but apparently most aerators don’t have that option, so it’s a pretty big deal.)

For convenience, the purifier sits perfectly on top of just about any wine glass, or any wine aerator.

So if your mom loves her wine, but hates the side effects of sulfites and histamines, this is the perfect last minute Mother’s Day gift.

11. Mama Graphic Crew Neck Sweater

Your mom and I have something in common: We love a good graphic T.

Okay fine, so your mom and I don’t typically sit around and chat about our fashion preferences, but a cute sweater like this is still a great gift idea.

It comes in a variety of pretty colors, like pink, black, gray, and green, and several different styles. It’s made with a blend of cotton and terry cloth so it should be nice and soft, and it can be worn for just about any occasion.

I love the relaxed, cozy look of this sweater and hopefully your mom will too.

12. Mama Bear Slippers

These little slippers are so cute, and they’re the perfect combo of cute and comfy. I know my mom tends to walk around in these little slippers that are worn out half to death, and she could use a slipper upgrade.

If your mom needs a slipper upgrade, too, these slippers fitted with a memory foam insole might be just the gift you’ve been looking for.

13. Gooseneck Kettle

We bought my mom a gooseneck kettle for Christmas, and she loved it. Considering she makes tea all the time and coffee occasionally, it was something that she needed and could use on a daily basis, instead of putting her teacup in the microwave.

The best part about this kettle is that it comes with a built-in thermometer, so your mom won’t under-heat or overheat her water.

For example, certain teas are best brewed at different water temperatures. Green tea needs to be brewed at 175-180 degrees. If it’s hotter than that, it’ll burn the tea leaves and that’s how you end up with that bitter bite that some green teas have.

This kettle’s thermometer helps make sure your mom’s hot beverages are never burned or under heated.

14. Antique Bottle Hummingbird Feeder

A hummingbird feeder is a beautiful way to give your mom’s garden or patio a little upgrade! And if she doesn’t have either of those, just hang it outside her bedroom or kitchen window and she can enjoy watching the hummingbirds flock around her home.

The design of this feeder is so pretty with its antique-y look, and it comes in clear or green glass.

Honesetly, this is a lovely last minute gift idea for Mother’s Day regardless of whether or not your mom is a huge “bird watcher.”

It’s safe to say that watching a hummingbird drink nectar outside your window brings a happy feeling to basically every breathing person.

15. Kinder: Cruelty-Free Beauty Box Subscription

I can’t say enough good things about this beauty box, and I genuinely believe your mom will love this box if she’s a skincare/beauty addict, too.

This clean beauty box subscription makes a fabulous last minute present for your mom because it doesn’t have to arrive on Mother’s Day for it to be a Mother’s Day gift.

Simply make a cute little coupon reading “Kinder Beauty Box Subscription” and hand it to your mom on Mother’s Day (along with a card and flowers, of course). Let her know that her beauty box worth up to $165 will be there soon, and then proceed to tell her all the amazing things about Kinder.

If you’re not convinced that this is the right gift idea for your mom, I totally get it. You can read my full Kinder beauty box review here to see if it’s right for your mom–or you.

Conclusion to Last Minute Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

That’s the end of this list of Mother’s Day gift ideas for procrastinaters!

But really, all jokes aside, remember that what your mom really wants for Mother’s Day is for her kids (regardless of their age) to spend some quality time with her.

So if you truly want to give her a good gift, then…

  • Put your phone down
  • Look her in the eye
  • Ask her questions about her day, her life, her dreams
  • Laugh with her
  • Open up to her
  • Tell her about what a great mom she is

The cards, flowers, and gifts are all so thoughtful and wonderful, and of course every gesture will be greatly appreciated by her.

But if all you can give is a homemade card and your time, trust me. It’ll be enough.

Sending you (and your mom) so much love and hugs,
